Consulting And Scheduling

Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation that includes a review of your medical history, a thorough examination, and a diagnosis for your problem. In addition, this visit will allow our treatment coordinators to discuss your treatment plan and review your insurance benefits with you.

Occasionally, surgery can be performed on the same day. However, complex treatment plans and medical issues may require that treatment be performed at your next visit. Certain types of surgical care necessitate a prior consultation.

Please notify our staff when scheduling if you have any medical problems (e.g. diabetes, bleeding problems, cardiovascular disease, artificial heart valves or joints) or are taking any medications (e.g. blood thinners, bisphosphonates, insulin, heart medications) that may affect your surgical care.

If you are considering intravenous sedation or general anesthesia, you must have nothing to eat or drink for 8 hours before treatment and have someone with you to provide transportation.

Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Please Bring The Following Items With You At Your Initial Appointment:

  1. Referral card from your dentist or physician
  2. X-rays taken by your dentist or physician (if you do not have x-rays, we can arrange to have them taken at our facility)
  3. Medical and dental insurance cards, if applicable
  4. List of medications you are currently taking
  5. Insurance referral (if required by your insurance carrier)
